Elizabeth Rata from SMK Pakan, Sii Zhi Ying from SMK Bandar Bintulu and Susie Yek from SMK Bandar Sarikei came to Lawas to have their holiday archery training for one month. They made their first team shooting in the 7th Sarawak Indoor Archery Championship in Lawas and captured the Champion Recurve Women Team medals.
Then they entered the 3rd National Archery Circuit/5th Sabah Outdoor Archery Championship in Kota Kinabalu on December 14-18 under Majlis Sukan Negeri Sarawak Team. They managed to bag the Recurve Women Team Bronze Medal.
